THE BENEFITS OF ROTATING TIRES

A tire rotation is an act of regularly changing the position of the tires on your vehicle. So why should you rotate your tires?

Tires mounted on the front wear differently than those in the rear. You want to do the most you can to promote even wear across your tire tread pattern. For your tires to wear evenly you must get them rotated. Doing so maximizes your investment and extends the life of your tires.

Uneven wear can cause increased vibration that you may feel on the road and in your steering wheel. Cars with consistently rotated tires have a better handle and provide a smoother ride, providing comfort and safety. If these automotive reasons aren’t enough, just think of your wallet! Not only do you get better gas mileage from evenly worn tires, but you’ll also have to buy them less often because your set lasts longer.

Each vehicle may have different rotational patterns and may require rotations and different intervals. For more info on that check our previous tire rotation blog here. Timely tire rotations go a long way to make your tires last. At Ferber’s Tire and Auto, if you purchase tires from us, you get a free tire rotation for the life of the tires!
