Our Car Painting Process
Car painting isn’t easy; it takes significant time, effort, and patience. Our auto painting specialists work with diligence to produce sound craftsmanship. We follow a strict, detailed checklist for our painting service. The first step is to clean the entire surface and use a wax/grease remover, then cover all areas that aren’t being painted. The second step is to remove rust (if applicable) and/or repair dents; using body filler for small dents, dings, or patches will be up to our discretion. Step three is to sand down the paint to get rid of rough areas, prime the surface, and apply the top coat of paint. We will add two to three more layers of paint depending on the extent of the damage and apply a clear coat. This is a generic overview of our process and should be used to understand what goes into it.
