Family owns three cars; brought them all in, one after the other, for routine maintenance. Drove out knowing with utmost confidence that we were ready for the several long road trips ahead of us. We had a mechanic like that once, and are glad to have one again.

I had multiple issues that were done to include general maintenance to fuel issues and electrical. I have a 2016 Range Rover Sport and it did take a little over 3 weeks for them to figure out what was wrong. That was frustrating for both myself and Ferber’s. In the meantime they provided me with a free loaner. They were very transparent and even took me into the shop to show me where the issues were. Car is running great now and I would highly recommend them. Ask for Stan and he will get you taken care of.

We were on our way to vist family and ran into car problems along the way. Ran into a mechanic at the gas staion and he reffered us to a few places. Ferbers was able to get us in and back on the road within a few hours. The customer service was nothing short of 5 stars. Danielle and Rick took great care of me and van-essa. I had gotten my transmission fluids done and they offered to run a diagnostic to help relive some anxiety i had about the issue i was having to see if there was anything wrong with it, they did business in a timely fashion and rick was so awesome and charming to chat with and gave me much insite on the car repairs, I absolutely loved hiw they take pictures of what they’re recommending to get repaired and they explain in much detail so I feel as if I’m learning more too, very satisfied and will definitely be back

What a great team at Ferber’s! I inadvertently scheduled an oil change at the wrong location but they worked me in no problem. Very professional interaction including the call letting me know my vehicle was ready.

Looking for a place to do my state inspections, found them in a Google search, was able to set up an appointment. Got there at the scheduled time, was done before the scheduled end time. The shop suggested several things to keep my car in working order, but it they were not in my plans or budget for the day, so I declined them…there was no pressure tactics. Will gladly suggest them to anyone needing a repair shop or place to get an inspection!

I stopped here while traveling after I got a flat and noticed my tire’s sidewall had a bubble. While they didn’t have the size I needed on hand, they called a local tire shop for me that was able to help. The gentleman who assisted me was so kind and helpful. If I’m ever in the area and need auto assistance again, I’ll be sure to come here.

I came for a second opinion to confirm what was wrong with my car and to get it fixed. I must say, Kaitlyn is one of the most charming people I have had the pleasure of talking to when doing business. She is very attentive to each customers needs(When I first came in I saw her sit next to an elderly lady so the lady could sit and be comfortable instead of having her stand for a while by the desk, and she showed plenty of patience with her) and she is great at articulating herself in person and over the phone, and her tone is warm with each interaction! Even though this shop is a bit out of the way for me, if I need my tires changed again, I will be coming back here ♡ I hope managenent recognizes how amazing she is!

I had never visited this auto shop before but looked over the reviews and decided to stop by. I did not have my car serviced but I needed to ask some questions. Stan ended up helping me and he was, without a doubt dedicated to making sure I was situated. I can tell by the way Stan treated me that this auto shop makes customer service a high priority. Stan went above and beyond by walking to my car to take a look at what I was concerned about. I don’t come across customer service at this level too often. An per the norm, Ferber’s exceeded my expectations for customer service. Flat tire on a Friday, wife out of town, kids in school, 1 quick call to Ferber’s got me in the door. After giving me a ride home, they promptly fixed the issue, and brought my vehicle back to me. Great staff great shop!

After sitting at another place for two hours, won’t even bother with the name, just for an overdue inspection. I googled for a place near me that could do inspection, man am I glad I did. What a friendly place to walk into and service was quick. I will definitely be using them for my vehicle needs!

Great service and honest. We went to have our Volvo checked out and expected a major repair. Ferbers were upfront about what needed and didn’t need repair. They also offered a loaner car in case the repair took longer than expected. These days , its hard to find a mechanic that won’t try to scam you but this place is reliable and trustworthy.

The transmission on my wife’s 10 yr old Subaru died, I’m told that it is very uncommon, but, it happened to us. I’ve learned these CVTs are very expensive to repair and there are few if any techs rebuilding them. We found Ferbers online and I first spoke with Rick Nelson. Very knowledgeable and compassionate, hard to find in the auto repair industry, but Rick was a gem. After considerations, we elected to go with a used transmission, as newly rebuilt transmissions start, at $7500, from Subaru. Ferbers did a complete diagnostic on the car and sent me the error codes & photos of what they looked at. A previous shop said, you need a new transmission, nothing more. Ferbers sourced a used transmission, installed it and we have a 3 yr warranty. During the entire process, Matt, with Ferbers kept in touch with me via messenger so there were no surprises. We still spent more than we wanted to, but we are extremely happy with the services & guidance Ferbers provided. And btw, their shop on Rt. 60 is spotless! My Subaru will not see any other garage, except at Ferbers.

I just learned of this place, and I am glad that I did. Michelle is awesome. She is really good at explaining everything to the customer. The mechanics are great at getting the job done. They are quick and efficient. Waiting area is clean and they have comfortable seats. I highly recommend this location. My experiences with them have been great. I cannot thank these guys enough! After driving for 4 days from Western Arizona, I was pulling into my Richmond hotel very late and realized one of my breaks had seized up. The next morning, I pulled in at 7am exhausted and praying they could help me get myself, my friend and my dog back home to Vermont. The guys were so welcoming and understanding, they got my Van right in, were honest about the issue and within a couple hours we were back in the road with safe breaks. They repeatedly checked on us, offered waters, resturant suggestions and did not try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I highly recommend anyone needing tire or break service to go to these folks first! Thank you all so much for getting us back in the road safely and quickly!

I was in desperate need of a honest, trustworthy, decent priced mechanic shop. I definitely found it here. These guys are honestly the BEST shop in / around this area. From the littlest to the biggest invoice , they got you. This shop is definitely based on Integrity.

This is my new home for auto care. Periodt. They are personable, fair, quaint and over all efficient. From small needs like an auto inspection to large ticket items like a canister purge valve or whatever, this team will take care of you – and with haste, might I add!! They have a new referral program (don’t forget to ask and save $100 on your next service), refreshments and a small place to sit if you’re 1 of 2 people waiting.

We ended up at Ferber’s under the most unfortunates circumstances. Our vehicle broke down while out of town on our way to a vacation. The silver lining is we ended up at Ferber’s who took amazing care of us and our vehicle. They were prompt, honest, professional and personable and all around truly helpful. I just want to say thank you for the support from Ferber’s tire and automotive service. Broke down on the way a day before my cruise in Norfolk. Virginia and car fuel pump decide to fail with no notice. 15 minutes before this shop close. Dana was so supportive and making sure that I was able to get my vehicle to the shop and was able to work on it while I was away on my cruise. The customer support and the friendly service and most of all to me dedication, people in need especially in a crisis where I’m from out of town. Once again thanks for all the support of the staff there and most of all to the mechanics. That did a awesome job fixing my car. If you’re in the area and have any automotive problems, I would highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful experience here! Went in early in the morning on a whim after finding a slow leak in our tire while on a road trip. They were able to take the car in and fix the tire within an hour. The waiting area was super cozy, and the staff were friendly, transparent, and hospitable. Very grateful that they helped us out so we could continue driving safely!

I love Ferber’s! They are so easy to work with and keep up great communication. They often work around my travel/work schedule to either give me a ride or lend me a car so my day isn’t interrupted. They’re all lovely people and I feel confident in their recommendation.

Fantastic shop that does what they advertise, as well as educate. It is refreshing to go somewhere, and the employees are able to walk you through things. I am a new resident, and trying to navigate the inspection process was something new to me. They explained everything, and I left away knowing what needs to be done! Great group of people, will return, and highly recommend. While not me, while I was there, one of the employees themselves gave a woman a ride home so she didn’t have to wait, speaks volume of their character!

Superior service, relational in nature & not transactional. Informative, courteous and professional at all turns. Found prices to be proportionately competitive with others however their level of service is far superior to those – and there are several- Shops around them. I even got a follow up call from a person and not a dry stale robot or text.

This was my second time using Ferber’s, and I had high hopes after my first visit. This time, I brought in my Mercedes for service after a pulley broke, which affected the serpentine belt, and in turn, the condenser and alternator. The team replaced the broken pulley and also recommended replacing a second one that hadn’t failed—bringing the total to $1,200. I trusted the recommendation and approved the work. After the repair, I received a call saying my battery was dead and needed to be replaced—for $500. I know not all batteries cost that much, so I asked why. I was told it was due to a 3-year warranty. However, I pointed out that there are batteries at half the cost with the same warranty. When I declined the battery replacement, the front desk clerk told me they’d jump the car, but warned that it wouldn’t crank again once turned off. At that point, I had to ask myself: if the alternator wasn’t charging the battery, wouldn’t the battery just need to be charged rather than replaced? I picked up my car, drove it straight to the Mercedes dealership, and had the battery tested. It was perfectly fine—just needed a charge. I left the car running at home for an hour, then drove around a bit. Later, I turned the car off and it cranked right back up with no issue. This is where my concern lies: if I had followed Ferber’s advice without questioning it, I would’ve spent $500 on a new battery I didn’t need (especially since the current battery was installed just last March). I was also told they wouldn’t install a battery purchased elsewhere, which left me feeling like I was boxed into an unnecessary, overpriced option. I genuinely wanted Ferber’s to become my go-to for both my vehicles, including my Audi. But this experience made me feel like I was being led toward high-cost solutions without enough thorough diagnosis or transparency. That’s not the kind of relationship I want to build with any service provider. My car is running fine. They did great work, timely & efficient but following up with my other cars now I am a bit apprehensive.

Ferber’s Tire & Auto Service does very clean quick work. Their lobby/waiting room is super nice as well. Matt the Location Lead at the Midlothian location was super nice and talkative also. I would definitely visit again. 10/10 service!! Thank you!!

I chose Ferber because they had great reviews and their place of business looked clean and professional. They did make a mistake during the repairs but Ferber called me the next day to follow up and they asked me to bring my vehicle back to check to see if there was damage resulting from the mistake. They also offered me to bring my vehicle back in 60-90 days for another look to see if there would be damage further down the line. All in all, they had great customer service, clean and organized place of business, and excellent follow up to check on my vehicle, post repairs. Five stars

Amazing experience, went for a state inspection. Booked appointment came right at my inspection time and car got pulled right in, didn’t take long at all, but long enough for a deep inspection, they don’t just do a little look and slap a sticker on it, they put the car on a lift like they should and detail look at everything brakes, tire, all fluids…. they even go above and beyond to explain things that might need replaced in the future, and tell you in detail why it needs to. Amazing crew working there all respectful and nice, just an amazing family team there. I will definitely be back. I plan on making this my main shop for all my needs, and it’s local to me love supporting my local shops! Thank you guys will see you guys again!

Was traveling from Pennsylvania to NC to relocate back to PA when car lost power. Called tow & they asked where to go. I had no idea so I asked to be taken somewhere they recommended & so grateful it was this place. They were all so kind & helpful! It was the alternator so they replaced it next morning. They helped us with a car rental & picked up car next morning. Unfortunately we didn’t make it out of the parking lot before a fuel pump went. The alternator had apparently been defaulting for a few weeks so it put a strain on the fuel pump. Amazingly they were able to replace that next morning & when they tested the 2nd fuel pump it wasn’t looking so good either so they replaced that one too (highly discounted) They definitely made a stressful situation better. A two day trip became three but we made back to Pennsylvania with my furniture & a working car. Thank you guys SO much!!!

Ferber’s saved the day! I hopped in my car the other day only to discover that I had a nail in my tire. I had to drive up to NoVa that day for some very important meetings. Fingers crossed, I drove up to Ferber’s hoping they could squeeze me in. Less than an hour later, they had patched my tire and I was on my way! I’ve been a long time customer of their shop, and this is just one of the reasons why.

Honest Work and Great Customer Service We had some body work done at Ferber’s Auto Body, and while the final cost ended up being over $200 more than the original estimate, there had been no communication or approval beforehand. When we went to pick up the car and brought this up with Brad, he immediately acknowledged the oversight and agreed that we should have been contacted before the work was completed. Without any hassle, he made it right and honored the original estimate. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but how a business responds says everything — and Ferber’s handled it professionally and fairly. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences here, and I’ll definitely continue to bring them my business. Highly recommend for both the quality of work and the integrity behind it.

Ferber’s does charge fairly high for their services. However, I am really happy with their work. They mark every item that needs replacement or repair and even send photos and of each item in the list. As a note, they are extremely busy and I had an appointment delayed twice. As a bonus, they offer free loaner vehicles! Which was great since I currently only own one vehicle and rentals are expensive. Would highly recommend Ferber’s.

I brought 2 vehicles in for service in the same week. They not only accommodated my needs, they made it happen quickly even as a new customer. I made the decision to change from a local service shop because I felt taken advantage of and not heard. Ferber’s was a very different experience. Matt did a great job of explaining their process and how it works when checking me in. He also did an excellent job of explaining additional recommended services. Overall, their entire team provided excellent customer service and took really good care of me! They are the BEST auto repair shop in the Richmond area – I’m really looking forward to visiting some of their other locations in the future. We have been using Ferber’s for oil changes for a couple of years. I called the other day after realizing I was a few thousand miles overdue for an oil change. They were able to fit me in the next day! Then when I called about picking up the car, the associate was willing to stay late if I couldn’t get there right at closing time. Everyone there is so kind! My husband and I used to get our oil changes from the Ford dealership, and Ferber’s is way more convenient and better priced!

I had a fantastic experience here. Unfortunately I had a flat tire. Spoke to the front desk person & he was able to bring me in right away. Davey was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Honest, excellent work, reasonable, very polite, and one of the few places that has a holistic and long-term customer experience strategy. I’ve been going to Ferber’s for various maintenance needs over the last year and a half, and these are the people I want to take care of our cars long-term. The shop has a distinct family-business atmosphere with people who recognize you and truly care about retaining your business both on the work quality side and on the customer experience side. They will not skimp on quality and are happy to explain how things work if you have questions about a car issue/mechanical process or a quote breakdown. They’re very adamant about using good quality parts (the shop even has its own warranty for the parts they install). There are loaner cars if you need, and they offer rides depending on the situation. They don’t oversell or overcharge. If they have a recommendation for you, they show you why, not just tell you why—either by uploading photos to the online estimate form or by taking you into the shop to let you see for yourself what’s going on. Mechanics are knowledgeable and do great work. For context, my car has recently crossed the 100k mile mark, and a few maintenance services came due alongside some parts that needed replaced and had been causing issues. I’ve had a state inspection, brake pads, suspension and shocks, spark plugs, fuel injection system cleaning, and hydraulic fluid flushes done by the gentlemen at Ferber’s; every time I’ve gone in, they’ve gotten me on the schedule and done in a very reasonable amount of time, they’ve communicated clearly about what needs to be done and the priorities for routine maintenance, and overall made it so much *less* of a chore than it could have been. You don’t have to read between the lines or wonder if you’re being taken advantage of because they explain and provide photos of everything and are more than willing to help you figure out what’s needed, what’s nonessential, and what to prioritize. I’ll be going to these folks as long as I’m in this area. Very blessed to have found this shop.

I needed tires fast for an unexpected trip I needed to take. I made a last-minute call. They got me in and done by lunchtime, even though they were pretty busy and the schedule was pretty much full. The staff were all great, and I was able to get to my unexpected trip with no hassle. As well, they were about $20 cheaper than the other place I had called before, and savings is always good!

We had an immediate need for a tire repair around 10am. They addressed the repair immediate, completed the task quickly and the price could not have been more reasonable. I cannot recommend Ferber’s more. Great people and service.

Recently had my car worked on due to an accident. Initially we were really disappointed with our claims adjuster using used and reconditioned parts and was pretty much told there was nothing we could do about it. Ferber’s fought with the insurance company on our behalf without us even asking them to and was able to get us quality new parts for our vehicle. It’s hard finding good quality, honest shops nowadays but this is one of the good ones. I had a great experience at Ferber’s Auto Service. The staff was nice and easy to communicate with. They make sure that you’re always updated on the progress of the vehicle. They also send an itemized list of problems needed to be fixed with your vehicle. That list also comes with photos of the problems they identified. They are easy to work with.

I recently took my 2013 CRV in for a suspected oil leak. It was my first visit. It was great being able to make an appointment online and it was taken in within 10 minutes. My experience at Ferber”s has been one of the best auto shop experiences I’ve ever had. I went in for a state inspection, knew that there were going to be some issues because my car is 10 years old and they worked with me to replace my tires , Steering arm, alignment balance, oil change and all for very reasonable price. Stan was the man. Friendly and extremely helpful. Had a punctured tire that I needed help with quick. Stan got me scheduled in a hurry. Not only did they help get me back on the road in a very timely manner, but also got me some competitive quotes on getting new tires for my next visit. Thanks to everyone in the shop. They’re a little off from the main road, but do not over look them for mechanical support. I’ll be returning for any future needs.

Easy experience start to finish, they drove me to work after I dropped off my car in the morning. They called me for additional clarification when the tech was working on my car and needed more info. They made a full inspection of my car and showed me what needs to be updated (including pictures where applicable), and what would be good for proactive maintenance. They gave me honest answers about what they found, and didn’t try to sell me junk I don’t need. They have an online portal that they text / email before pickup. It includes pictures of everything they found, and makes it very easy to approve / deny any of their recommended work to be done.

Awesome experience! Had a front end accident, needed a new hood and bumper on my BMW X5. Brad, the manager, was great walked me through the whole process, made it super easy. Dutch was super nice and helped me find all the body panels I needed. David got the paint SPOT ON, you can’t even tell it was painted, PERFECT! They came within my budget since I wasn’t going through insurance and I couldn’t ask for better. When I came to pick up the car it was detailed and ready to go. It’s been a few months and still looks amazing.

They are thorough and reliable, and explain to you without judgement or bias. Small businesses do it best! Battery replacement, suspension, tire rotation and replacement, etc. They give you a break down of everything your car is good on, may need soon, and things that are top priority. They tried a remanufactured pump and it was still making the same noises that made me bring it in! They ended up putting in a genuine Honda pump. I arrived at Ferber’s at 8:30am for front and rear brakes and rotors and a battery test. They gave me a loner to use while my car was in service which was not expected. They called me a couple hours later to discuss options and they provided photos to help explain work and pricing. I gave them the green light and it was repaired and ready for pickup a couple hours later. For this job I saved about $800 compared to the VW Dealership. Well worth my time and money. I will utilize Ferber’s in the future. Thanks guys!

I am happy to say we have found a great trustworthy garage to work with! Everything is top notch, starting with the customer service! Communication is excellent, the prices are great (got a really good deal on some higher end tires!) and just in general they are genuinely nice people to work with! He was absolutely wonderful to work with—totally transparent on the issues with our vehicle, letting me know which were absolutely necessary and which were not. He worked with our insurance company and negotiated well so that we got almost everything covered. He arranged for an outside glass company to get our windshield replaced so that I didn’t have to do that on my own (as the insurance company recommended). They did the work quickly and even had my vehicle delivered due to some complications on my side. He was so incredibly accommodating! I would highly recommend this shop for your vehicle.

Had tires shipped from Tire Rack for mounting and balancing – Matt was very quick to call once the tires had been delivered, appointment for mounting and balancing was super easy on all levels. Very impressed with this location, fantastic customer service. I will definitely return.

I was traveling and had been stuck in town since Saturday night waiting for Ferber’s to open. It was literally right down the street from where we had to park after having to get off the highway. I was able to get an appointment and a diagnosis on Monday and the car was ready on Tuesday morning. They were great, and very patient with me as I worked out what I needed to organize to figure out details for home. This had absolutely nothing to do with them but Dave(?) was super nice and accommodating and got my car ready even earlier than estimated. If I lived in Glen Allen they would be my go-to mechanics!

Took my van in for state inspection. Building is very clean and welcoming, it even smelled good inside, not like oil and grease. Very friendly staff. Although I received a rejection for a torn boot, they did a great job. Very thorough and included photos of every issue and recommended services. Provided a list of recommended services but no pressure to have them done. My husband works on our cars so most of the things had been done. He replaced the boot and I will go back tomorrow for re-inspection. Highly recommend.

I don’t live anywhere near Ashland, VA… but was driving home to NY from FL. And, a nail met my tire on I95. After slowly rolling off the closest exit, I was relieved to find Ferber’s right next to the gas station where we checked our quickly declining tire pressure. They were SO kind, and helped us right away. They were able to plug our tire permanently and we were SAFELY on our way home in less than 30 minutes. The whole thing could’ve been a disaster… and the folks at Ferber’s made it nothing more than a short pit stop.we are SO grateful for them!!!

This is the Best Place in Fredericksburg to have your vehicle repaired. The people are always friendly, give great advice and truly lookout for your needs. The free courtesy inspection is a nice touch, lets you know about upcoming maintenance or repairs so you can budget properly.

Ferber’s Tire and Auto Service in Midlothian was so amazing!!! My car’s engine light came on right before I was supposed to go out of town and they diagnosed and fixed the issue in a matter of hours and gave me a loaner vehicle to get around with while my car was out of commission. In addition, their documentation and recommendation system is so clear and helpful! Highly, highly recommend!

I visited Ferber honestly because I had a coupon $49.99 oil change. That’s an awesome deal so I couldn’t turn it done! The office staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable! I was explained everything after they did a thorough, courtesy inspection of my vehicle . I ended up just getting my car inspected at that time since they basically had done it anyway with that courtesy inspection! The customer lounge was very clean and spacious and they even supplied complimentary water bottles and snacks! I recommend Ferber to anyone with a vehicle lol . I got a serious tire puncture during a routine shopping trip. After adding enough air to drive, I left the vehicle with Ferber. They repaired the flat so it should not leak again.

I called them super stressed because I’d ripped my bumper partially off in a parking space. They got me in within an hour and fixed it! They were so kind and professional and I’ll keep them in mind any time I need work done in the future!

I had an unexpected emergency when a solenoid went out in my car, and had to get off the highway at the closest exit, which led me to Ferber’s. It was a beyond lucky find. I encountered the loss of air in my tire while traveling from Maryland to Southern Virginia for a funeral. I was worked into the schedule. I needed a tire that was an unusual size. The appointment was handled on time, the staff were courteous and professional, and I was out of there in a reasonable amount of time. The online scheduling was convenient. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was lack of Saturday appointments.

I had a great experience at Ferber’s Auto Body, repairing the back bumper of my Infiniti. Everyone I spoke to at the shop was friendly, polite and professional. The estimating process was quick and easy, they communicated thoroughly with pictures and detailed emails when they found additional damage once they got the bumper off, and the work was completed on time and looks great. They even washed my car and detailed the interior so the whole vehicle looked shiny & new when I picked it up! No one likes a car accident but they ended the whole incident on a positive note. I highly recommend them.

Several weeks ago I went out to my car and saw I had a flat tire and found there was a screw in it. I inflated the tire and went to a local repair service I’d used before but they were very busy and unable to help me. U joint went bad on the interstate. They pressed out the old joint and autozone gave me the wrong one. They let me use their car to go get the correct one but sadly they didn’t have it. The shop didn’t charge me a penny even though they helped me

I did my state inspection here in the afternoon and the staff were very friendly. The service was quick so I was able to go to DMV afterwards during their working hours. Also, the location is very convenient because it is so near DMV Chesterfield (4 minute drive).

Perfect as always. My truck was fixed promptly as always. I have only one complaint. I was there for a alignment, however my inner tire rods had to be replaced. When I spoke to the attendant about this, she told me that the alignment had been done, however if the tire rods are to be replaced, another alignment would be needed. Therefore I would be charged for another line up. But the mechanic did put the vehicle in alignment according to specs. I feel that I should have been told about the tire rods before the alignment. But that being said, I’m still very happy with the service. Thanks for another good job!!

I just moved into the area, and found Ferber’s in an online search. They were the only unit to be open before 8, so I called them. David and his crew helped me service my two vehicles after our long drive, install front license plates (VA requirement), and make sure our vehicles are good to go. Very nice and competent staff.

While trying to determine what is wrong with van. I had a loaner car to use. Did a pinpoint test. ABS control module. Cost was beyond my means. Plus van had other issues. Ferber’s isn’t good at giving you a receipt of work done on vehicle. Have to request. It should be automatically sent to email. So you can maintain a record of work done on vehicle.

I just bought a Mercedes Benz 2 weeks ago and one morning it wasn’t starting so I looked online for the best automotive service and it came up ferber’s tire and Auto service. I called and talked to Matt the service advisor he set me up to come in and take a look and see what the problem is, well after doing the diagnostic test it came up with many things that need to be done eventually but there was a few that need to be done right away. From the time I walked in the door to meet Matt and the other people who work here I felt like I was at home. This is a brand new shop please if you have a problem with any of your vehicles bring it to Matt bring it to ferber’s they will treat you right and always let you know how things are going. They periodically send pictures from the mechanic while he’s doing the work to show you exactly where the problem is and what they’re going to do. All prices are up front no hidden agenda. This is going to be a wonderful automotive repair shop here in Midlothian and I hope that everyone who sees this will take a look and come in and just come in and talk and let them take a look at your car and they’ll give you an honest opinion because we know that our car is the most important thing we have besides our home. Matt took care of my state inspection at their other location and I was super impressed by their level of service. I received photos of my car and a detailed description of all of the upcoming maintenance items I should be planning for. Stopped in today to look at their new location in Midlothian, and was incredibly impressed! The shop is extremely well designed, and their equipment is top of the line! You can be sure that you’re in great hands at Ferbers, and It is refreshing to do business with companies that stand behind their products, invest in their people, and ensure a consistent customer experience.

I called the body shop to inquire about 2 issues on my Jeep, a cowl issue and some light interior rust on a door. Ryan was easy to talk to and accommodating, inviting me to swing by so he could look at the issues. The cowl issue was easily solved and Ryan provided guidance and helped walk me through the solution where I was able to do the minor repair on my own, with no tools and no experience. The paint concern is obviously a bit more complicated but he was able to explain the process, provided an estimated cost (that seemed fair for the work that needed to be done), and gave a time frame of how soon I should address is (certainly faster is ideal but there wasn’t a huge rush). I work locally and I see agency cars there for work; in a previous professional life I was responsible for managing my office’s small fleet of cars. I learned quickly that if my office could rely and trust a car shop then I likely could as well. Seeing work vehicles there gave me a sense of peace that Ferber’s does good work and they are used frequently when needed. Since moving to Ashland I have been looking for a local shop I can trust and rely on. For body work I think I found it. The next time I need more work done I’ll hop on over the street and check out the tire and repair shop in Ashland Junction. If the team there is as professional and polite as the body shop crew is I will be satisfied. They are NAPA certified as well.

The courtesy inspection was thorough and there as no pressure to sell additional services. Their ability to routinely contact me via email and cell was great, and their documentation of services also thorough. My vehicles were returned without the usual smudge marks, trash or small scrap parts left lying around – so the quality control appears very high. I recently had my car in for an inspection at Ferber’s thinking it was Fleming’s, the original automotive business I had been using for several years. As sad as I was about Rich and Tim selling the business and no longer being there, I went ahead and took my van in for service. I have to say that I was very happy with the results! From the intake and scheduling for service to the completion of the work, everything went very well and was done professionally. I was informed about other issues with my vehicle and the degree of urgency for those repairs before anything extra was done. All of this information was provided in an email for my convenience so that I could review what should be done ASAP and plan for what was coming up within the next couple of years depending on mileage. Some of the issues are pricey like replacing the shocks, but the heads up that they gave me will give me plenty of time to budget for those repairs. I definitely think some of the prices could be lower, but they tend to be on the higher side of the average price range from what I have researched so far. Having said that, they put absolutely NO pressure on me to commit to anything else other than what I wanted and needed done for now. So yes, I definitely recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for honest, skilled , and transparent people to work on your vehicle, which is often hard to come by especially these days. Although I’m going to miss Fleming’s “small town”, friendly, neighborhood business relationship, I have to say that because I had a great first impression with Ferber’s, I will definitely continue to use them, and I strongly recommend them. Ferber’s repaired the minor damage to my metallic blue Golf R resulting from an unfortunate nighttime encounter with the rear hoof of a not as quick as she thought deer. The car’s complex headlight and surrounding area needed replaced, minor body work done and the computer recalibrated. They worked quickly and efficiently & hurdled the usual insurance obstacles with great aplomb. The unanticipated but always arising little bobbles were handled with appreciated courtesy & attention to the owner’s needs. The car is literally like new & I could not have asked for more. They are a trustedqqq1 class act & I’m happy that they are opening a Midlothian service location near me.

My truck had a sudden grinding noise from front drive wheel. OEM dealer couldn’t get me in to service center for 10-14 days. Called Ferber’s, and they got me in next morning. Issue was debris wedged in the brake, they corrected issue quickly and I was only way. These folks are great.

Good quality work, and good customer service. I find the pricing to be a bit high… for instance $9 for a valve stem that didn’t really need to be replaced but it was their “policy.” I find the lady that works the front desk much more accommodating than the guy…. he needs to work on that.

Ricky and his crew went above and beyond to repair my car. I was traveling when my car starting acting up. Ricky was kind enough to get me in so that I could make it back home 7 hours away. He was very honest and did not try to nickel and dime me for anything that wasn’t necessary. Made it home with zero issues and am still running strong. Their ability to routinely contact me via email and cell was great, and their documentation of services also thorough. My vehicles were returned without the usual smudge marks, trash or small scrap parts left lying around – so the quality control appears very high. Key drop was easy and they got back to me early the next morning! I am now planning some additional work and will post ongoing progress. I am so glad my son recommended Ferber’s. UPDATE: got an alignment and belts replaced via drop-off. Very smooth and fast turn around. Very satisfied and I highly recommend this facility. Discussed more costly maintenance for the future and gave me a recommended timeline of when to check back on the specific points I declined to work on that day. A week later I got a hand-written thank you note from Rob. I think that one special touch ensured I’ll be going back when the time comes!

Excellent place for a state inspection. Their office and waiting room is really nice and comfortable – great furniture and decor, complimentary drinks. The nicest I’ve seen so far. What’s even better is just how thorough they are. With the invoice, they provide you with a full report on your car, with pictures. Extremly helpful. Will keep coming back.

On vacation from Jersey our alternator was not charging the car battery we got here before opening and everyone here was so friendly and accommodating! Got our part and the car done with in a hour, very fast and efficient! Highly recommend!!

I’ve used them twice now…they are doing good work. The first time was a scheduled fix and that went great. Then, my truck broke down. Despite being slammed on their schedule, they made the effort to get me diagnosed and fixed up in a couple days. I have found my new repair shop!

Pete and the guys at Ferber’s were really great. While towing our teardrop from PA to NC we noticed one of the wheels on our drop was getting really hot. It was 7am and we had a ferry to catch many hours away. We stopped by and talked to Pete even before they opened. He was very accommodating. He took us right in and changed the bearings on both wheels, checked the brakes and got us back on the road in plenty of time to make our ferry. Everyone there was so helpful and the work was quick and efficient. If you ever have need of a fantastic group of tire and auto service men and happen to be traveling near Fredericksburg, VA, they are your guys. The start to our vacation could have been very different and we are so glad we found them!

Being new to Virginia, I needed a vehicle inspection. While waiting, I realized that I was due for an oil change. While my car was getting the inspection done, I asked if they might be able to do an oil change, but if they weren’t able to that was ok because it was so last minute and that I would come back. After checking their appointments, they were able to do my oil change too. Super friendly and beyond accommodating. Ferber’s Tire and Auto is the only place I’ll be going with my vehicle.

I had an unfortunate incident where my parked car got damaged in our apartment parking lot, leaving a dent on the front right side of my vehicle. Thankfully, the other driver’s insurance covered all costs, including a rental car. However, when I reached out to the first place for an estimate, they couldn’t get me in until late August, which was not ideal. Luckily, I called Ferbers Tire & Auto Service, and they were extremely accommodating, getting me in for an estimate the following Monday after I called on Friday afternoon. The best part was that the repair process only took a little over a week, which is much faster than most other auto shops. Throughout the process, Chad, Brooke, and the entire staff were incredibly helpful, making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free. Simply outstanding, my van broke down out of town. I was out of town. I arranged to have the van towed to Ferbers and Katie and their team and mechanics are outstanding! After taking my car to three local shops and being charged for parts that did not resolve the issue a friend recommended Ferber’s and so happy I took her advice. I was driving it & a deer came out of no where & hit the back door (couldn’t open it!) & messed up the rear driver’s side qtr panel – ripping off the wheel well & messing up part of the back, too! Dutch was “the Jeep guy”…he did an AWESOME job! We had our Jeep back within 3 weeks! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ferber’s Body Shop on Washington Hwy!

While driving from Maine to Florida I experienced handling issues and sought to have a professional look at my vehicles front end & suspension. Ferber’s in Ashland, Virginia had close access to I-95 & positive reviews. I explained my situation and the manager & crew were able to work me in. They went over my vehicle, deemed it safe to drive, rebalanced my tires and had me back on the road in less than 2 hours. They could have gouged me but didn’t as the bill was very fair. Their staff was friendly and professional. I wish that I could find a shop in Florida with a conscientious and dedicated staff like Ferber’s. I’m grateful that they were there in my time of need. Thanks for checking my vehicle out and giving me some peace of mind for the rest of my trip.

Contacted Ferber right after they opened to get my vehicle inspected end of the month, and while it passed they also noted a variety of things to consider dealing with, without pushing the issue. I’ve dealt with a lot of local auto repair shops that seem to assume owners don’t know enough about their vehicle to know they’re being taken advantage of. Have used Ferber’s past couple times and have had a great experience each time. They send a link to a site that has everything it details with pictures with an estimate that has been close to final cost. You can approve or decline each thing that needs to be fixed. Once approved they get the problem fixed quickly. Couldn’t recommend enough!

The folks at Ferber’s have been excellent to work with and I am so appreciative of their fast response to questions as well as when they service the car. They all have a friendly attitude which is especially great when your car is acting up and giving you heartburn…makes the situation a lot easier to deal with. Most recently I had a vehicle towed from near the Richmond airport up to Ferber’s in Ashland because I knew they would be able to identify the issue and fix it quickly.
